hello do I need to declare to universal credit that my daughter works part time she is 16 and is in full time education

Hello @Ellie18. No, this is not something that needs to be delcared to UC, only if she leaves full time education.

Her earnings will not impact your UC claim at all @Ellie18, even if she were 30.
If/when she leaves fulltime, non-advanced education, you will no longer receive the child element for her.

thank you I thought I’d she works part time and it’s through school holidays so no college then I would have to say I’ve had a message in my journal saying I have a compliance interview in two weeks it says they have information and it suggests that my child element needs reviewing they don’t half make you worry has anyone else had this she’s due to start college in September
