UC Payment Date

Hello,
I will receive my very first UC payment on 7th June which is a Saurday. How will this work? Will I get paid the previous day or the next working day after 7th June? I know people get paid the working day before, but does this apply if it's your very first payment? Also I was just looking on my online account for future reference as to how to change contact details and I clicked on to read instructions then went back and it's recorded it in journal as change contact details cancelled. Have I done anything wrong. I just wanted to read instructions not actually change anything. Thanks

If any UC payment is due on a weekend or bank holiday, it will be paid the working day before. So in this case Friday 6th June.

Thanks what about just looking at how to change details and it saying change details cancelled. I don't need to change anything I was just looking for future reference will they ask about this or withhold my payment? Thanks

Hi,
Every time you open an online form such as the 'make changes' form, that gets recorded in the journal.
If you close it before completing then it shows as cancelled in the journal.
You haven't done anything wrong and it won't cause any problems.
