I am a 37 year old woman, i suffer with mental health and copd. I live with my partner 35, my son 14, and my daughter 8, we are really struggling this month and cannot afford anymore food, I am trying to find an emergency food bank as it is bank holiday and we have no food left whatsoever. Please can someone help us. Thank you.

    The only suggestion I can think of is contact your local authority who should have a duty social worker available, they might be able to signpost some help.

    Local authority website should have details of emergency service, sometimes you ring the normal number which diverts to emergency/out of hours service, where someone can assess the urgency of situation.
