It's hammering down here.
We need it though,I tried weeding the borders this morning and it was like digging up concrete.

Oh I'm very jealous! The water buts are totally empty now. Just one good day of rain would do the world of good.

The grass is looking greener already.

I remember my dad buying me a soda steam when I was a kid
Used to get excited over all the flavours

I bought one for my sister's kids when they were little @Amberpearl ,what really impressed them was the noise it made when you removed the bottle.
They thought it sounded like the doors on the Death Star.π

Been going great today, son gave me a Mother's Day card. He did get me a Chevelle parking only sign too Seen my mom and I gave her a Mother's Day card. My brothers and I surprised her too as well. We know it was hard for her losing our dad in January and we got a photo painting of dad and her done from a photo taken 5 years ago. She had tears of joy seeing it saying thank you

Afternoon everyone. I have a phone call from Capita at 1pm, it's for my youngest son, regarding LWC. My nerves are jangling, just glad it's a phone call though, as I'm struggling to go out of the house.
I had a face to face appointment with them 6yrs ago, for myself. Before I even got a decision, I felt so useless and such a drain on my family, I convinced myself that everyone would be better off without me. I was very lucky that I had medical help in time, and coming home from hospital, there was a letter from capita on my mat, they had increased my benefit, good news, clouded by guilt and sadness at how the interview had so badly affected me. I wish I could have let the person who had done the interview know how badly she had made me feel. I nearly became one of the statistics of people ending their life. I have had much more positive interviews over the last few years, but being asked what was Autism by one, and realising that she really didn't know, left me nodding my head in dismay. I told her I could tell her what Autism was for my son.

Going good, found out a numbers matching 1970 Chevelle on Saturday I bought is now paid off. Had a lean from the bank on the title mostly almost paid off leaving a grand, they went to the bank and did pay that off. The owner died and his widow was a co signer on the loan. Transporting it to my place tomorrow

Late saying hello today, but afternoon everyone! Hope you're all having a good day so far βΊοΈ
Hope the call went okay @Elvisdog, they're pretty nerve-wracking things. It's awful how many people still aren't aware of Autism. I know there's still a long way to go, but I'd hope we're going in the right direction when it comes to awareness.
Sounds great @JackieLynn!
