Hi I'm Dave, I was told it have Crohn's disease about two years ago now.

I had to finish my job as I was struggling with symptoms and have a real ergancy to go to the toilet, so I went self employed so I can choose when I go to work if I'm not feeling too good.

I've applied for PIP twice but been rejected both times.

My standard of living is severely comprimised as I don't get out much because I'm frightened /embarrassed incase I have an accident. I've got mortgage and bills to pay but I'm struggling to do enough work to pay them.

Can I get help with this (benefits, rebates )

You can apply for Universal Credit, this is means tested.

If you report a health condition at the start of your claim, and are later found to have LCWRA or LCW, this would remove any work expectations from you although you can still work.

Did you have any assistance from local welfare rights with your PIP at all?

If you didn't appeal against the most recent rejection there might still be time to do so.
