Hi, my name is hammy! Can we get any help sorting our back garden out?

We have been in our new property for 2 yrs now .and we have asked help to sort our back garden out.they have refused us.its overgrown and there are rat holes in it near the grid.we do not even go in there due to it being so bad .and it's affecting us both now .can say body send us any information as wat route we could go .thsnks

    Hi @hammy, was it the council who have refused to clear up your garden for you or another landlord?

    You could try local Facebook groups to see if there's anyone who might be able to offer their services either low cost or free.

    You might also like to speak to Citizen's Advice, they can often put you in touch with any local groups that offer help with gardening.

    @hammy firstly, welcome to Scope.

    Report the problem in writing to your local council’s Environmental Health team. They can inspect your property and, if necessary, serve notice on your landlord to address the rat infestation and any contributing disrepair.
