Just read an interview with Steven snake Timms in the Mirror. When asked if they gave the numbers to vote this through he gave the usual politician waffle and said he “hopes ‘ he has their backing , not a yes we have the numbers to get this through. I don’t know how to link but maybe someone else can please.

I would like to point out that UK-French cruise missiles, each of which costs more than a million, are easily shot down not only by the Russians, but also by the Pakistanis! This is scrap metal! And with such weapons, Britain is still trying to threaten someone and go beyond its shores! And even if the blood money taken from the disabled were given to the military industry, it simply would not be able to do anything worthwhile. There is no one to do it.

I'm really not sure what the right thing for me to do is re green paper. Some people are advising not to send the government feedback about the green paper because they believe it's a bad faith 'discussion' where we can't actually voice our opinions on things.

I've signed various petitions including Scope's, and I've contacted my local MP (something I never normally do) twice now but heard nothing from her. Worse still she's Labour, so either she supports these cuts aka 'reform' or she simply doesn't want to get in trouble with her party. Not sure which is worse.

What would people on the forum advise for us to do. I feel so utterly powerless, and scared, as I'm sure many others feel right now. My re-assesment (my first ever) is in 2027. I don't know whether that's 'good' or bad because it's over a year to wind myself up and stress out, especially since I'm facing housing insecurity in the near/foreseeable future due to a will (I'm not elegable for housing benefit yet) - that little cushion of PIP would enable me to have the money to rent….it scares me.

Sorry for the littel pity party. What are other people doing - especially when their MP etc is ignoring them?

    Hi all,

I've recently launched a petition to attempt to reverse the UC and PIP changes. I have attached the link below. I would urge as many people as possible to sign. Please if you can take the time to sign the petition and share it on social media. We need 100,000 signatures so please help the outreach in any way you can. Please comment on this post to get more traction etc.

    Thank you!

Sounds about right for him, saying whatever suited him at the time. 🙄 I'm glad someone dropped him in it though.😁

Kernow Damo is entertaining as well as informative but because you mentioned Silver Fox first I thought I'd look at a few of his videos before replying to you.

Although it dates from last year have you seen his video "Keir Starmer A Warning from History"? 😳 It's really scary but very well observed.

We're at the sharpest end of Labour policy so we know that this is going on but it is very unnerving to have someone speak to you from YouTube about it.

There will be many other people in denial about what's happening because they don't think that these horrors could possibly happen in this country. We have news for them..... 😱

I'm sure you're right about that! It wouldn't surprise me at all. Let's face it, they are not going to be bothered about making quality armaments and have anyone who knows anything about it. All they want is something that makes a lot of money and that some of it's will find a way into the party donation fund. 💸

I’ve only recently been watching silver fox so I’ll have to watch that video.
I just read The mirror interview with that snake Timms. When asked if they have the numbers to pass the reforms he replied he hoped so . Confident then 😀

    I see!

    Thanks.

P.S. I've never bothered claiming PIP to date, as I hate dealing with condescending stupid assessors and all the stress that these assessments inflict upon us from the day we call them to ask them for a form to fill in till we receive a decision, which can take a whole year, meaning stressing out an entire year for a miserable amount of money.

Due to the upcoming evil changes (God forbid), I'll have to claim it.

I would say record your assessment and tell them that way they know they can’t lie . I must say personally I’ve found DWP to be mostly helpful to me and have encouraged me to go to MR . It’s usually the assessors that are difficult but again record it . Good luck and sorry for interrupting the conversation x

He will speak confidently but behind the scenes they really must be worried about the backlash they've had which I'm sure they didn't expect. Good!! 🤗

I've read that interview. What a hypocritical, traitorous piece of work he is. 😡

Will you tell me what you think about the Silver Fox video?👍

No, you're not interrupting anything at all. On the contrary, your points are well received.

By the way, which one did you find harder to fill in: the WCA or PIP? And which one has got more pages to fill in?

You're absolutely right, it's rather the assessors that give us a hard time.

Tbh I can’t remember my wca . I had one every 11 months of which the third was on paper. I haven’t had an assessment for about 7 plus years . As for the pip form they keep changing. It was a full form at first and my last one a short form . I think it’s longer now but I’ve heard people say that’s a good thing as you get to tell them more information. I would say read the form yourself and pay attention now to the 4 point descriptors . Then get help from CAB or similar to fill it out . At the assessment make a mental note of what you need for that 4 points as in my last reassessment the assessor steered me away from the 4 Points towards a 2 points . Now I would be wise to this . I will also have my own recording device even if they say they’ll record it as last time they said they had no recording equipment at the last minute. But definitely don’t let the assessors put you off from claiming what you deserve.

Stephen Timms is also apparently religious and seemed decent until he jumped aboard the gravy train

I think they’re definitely worried. He didn’t sound at all confident the little weasel
