The last payment of ESA (known as the run on payment) isn't always paid exactly two weeks after your previous payment.

Your next payment was due on Monday while your claim was active.

Now your claim has closed, the normal payment cycle is broken.

As advised the run on payment can arrive at a different time compared to your usual payment cycle.

kimi87 it was not for the amount I usually get now I’ve got to wait till 7th June for my universal credit

This is also normal, depending on where you were in the ESA payment cycle.

Not everyone gets a full payment for the run on as people claim UC at different points in their ESA claim.

That gap is how migration from legacy benefits to UC works.

You can request an advance payment of UC if needed, this is a loan that will be deducted from future payments.
