Hi all in a horrible UC situation

I am disabled, born with a genetic disorder called Ehlers Danlos syndrome and dislocate everyday. My family has put a flat in trust for me and it’s rented out. I receive no income from it while my parents are alive. They received the income. I applied for UC in the ESA migration and was rejected based on the asset. Even though I told them and proved I receive nothing from it. This has been ongoing since March. They have closed my first claim I put through when I applied for when I was sent a migration notice.
It’s extremely stressful and I am at my wits end dealing with them. They closed my claim and now I have to reapply. If anyone has any advice or dealt with something similar I could use the help.

I would suggest talking to a trained benefits advisor:

Hi @allygirl11, welcome to the community. Sorry to hear you were turned down because of the house, that does sound very frustrating.
As this is quite a complex issue, and as Kimi mentioned, it may be worth speaking to a benefits advisor to see if they can help support you with your claim.
I hope some of our members who have been through similar things will find your post and lend some advice too.
Hope you can get things sorted soon.
