Finding housing together

Are there any communities specifically to help disabled people find each other so that they can buddy up and find private sector housing together?

Hi @MicMac that's a really good question! I've not heard of this before and can't find anything specifically for this, but I wonder if there are any local community groups you could join and maybe get to know other people locally and go from there? 🙂

I'm kind of shocked that nothing like this seems to exist already.
I guess local community groups are the only option for now.

See my post recent post on Habinteg.. And Homefinder..
When you say 'buddy up' do you mean house sharing for convenience or finding a partner to move in with?0 -
Its something worth looking into - but certainly in depth.
House sharing/dwelling sharing is never straightforward. People fall out, or landlords may want to sell up (assuming its a private dwelling) , or people are not what they seem (and yes even disabled folks)..1
