I'm currently mapping out clothing brands that make adapted trousers. Do you know any brands you've had good experiences with?

    Hi Thomas

    For over 30 years I've worn suits, trousers and jeans made by Rolli-Moden in Germany. The quality is fabulous, they fit perfectly.

    In the late 90s I drove to be measured by one of their tailors. It was (and may well still be) in a beautiful part of the Black Forest, a splendid place to visit.

    They aren't cheap but they're definitely worth the cost because their designs fit so well and they'll last for years. I've got a suit over 30 years old which I still sometimes wear.

    I highly recommend them (you may have noticed!).

    I phoned around loads, in the UK there is pretty much none that do oversized long (not long-sleeved) T-Shirts for overweight stoma wearers, so we could really use some! I only found one alternative being ASOS with their plus sized women's T-shirts, however I am a man, and shouldn't have to pay triple to prize for the same amount of T-Shirt.

    I would take that trip, even just to get my car a good run on the autobahn. I've only ever driven a Land Rover Series 3 in Germany, and they are slow enough to bring tears to one's eyes!

    No JF7891, I've been programming the interweb since 1991 and Rolli were very early adopters of it.

    I can speak French fluently and adequate Russian and Chinese, but the only time I've stayed in Germany (for a long weekend) that ended when my wheelchair was stolen. That was about the year 2000.

    Otherwise (somewhat like Ranald) I've only driven through Germany to get to other places and in order to demonstrate how fast each of my cars could go. It's a great place for that!

    Have you ever thought about shortening the sleeves on a long sleeve t-shirt in your size?

    No the long/short-sleeve doesn't even play into that equation, though short-sleeved would be my preference.

    Maybe you should take measurements of your figure and order the work from a tailor online? A T-shirt is not a difficult job.
    A long time ago I repaired jeans on an old mechanical sewing machine.

    @Thomas_VDK Have you explored the Men's Primark range. Great selection at a reasonable price.

    The designer was seen on a Dragon's Den episode and she was passionate about creating clothing for disabled people.
