After being attacked having my left leg chopped off and stabbed my mental health never mind my physical is absolutely terrible. My car is the only way I can get meds doctor hospital etc etc.

It took 6 years to recover then I rejoined the scheme and chose an electric automatic car. Brilliant but very big very fast. I had moved to a new area didn't know the roads then I had a couple of minor accidents. When my car came back I had been put on the watch list by Europcar because I put an mg hs into reverse and it **** forward. My car was gone 11 weeks in which time I have been in a manual fiat 500 way too small I shouldn't be in a manual either but I couldn't have anything else. Yhe say i got my car back the steering wasn't right it was still rubbing on the ateering column. I goy a severe alert on my app Toyota said I should be ok. Well I wasn't I went to McDonald's latr one night . This road a roundabout with a tight sweeping left id drivven 100s of times. This night even going slower than I usually would a badger ran out. I see served went for thw brakes but cos id been in the manual so long I hit acceleration and if u know electric vehicles that's rapid acceleration. The car hit the trees tumbled over twice ending up on its roof . Myself and 2 passengers out without a scratch. I blew a 0 no surprise but now motability are taking my insurance and without my car my life iw nothing without car noone else to do drive at all I have hospital appointments twice a week help

Nice to have you here on the community @Scotte74

It sounds like you have been through an awful lot so it is very understandable why your mental health is not good. Have you contacted Motability about the accident? I am also going to pop you over an email soon, so please look out for it

I should add I go out all over to visit friends who also have MS and similar illnesses alot of them are in a way worse state than I am but I go to chat have a coffee help them if I can having a vehicle gives me life where because I live rural i would struggle to have any social life absolutely no chance of hospital treatment. I have no obe else to drive for me ive just been clumsy twice I came off in the snow on a country lane I wasn't familiar with doing 25/30 on a 60 road . The second I glanced a car ( sideswiped) on q very narrow road because my eye was on a young child running towards the road this was at very low speed and I thought I'd just hit the mirror until the lady came to see me and it was immediately put in as my fault.which that was. 3rd I was in an mg from Europcar ripoff that when I put it into reverse (automatic) it shot forward. I had a witness to this yet again I'm blamed . Finally my Toyota BZ wasn't right id had it back a day the steering wasn't right a severe warning came up I called toyota immediately and was told they couldn't tell ne what it was but i should be ok. That evening taking a. Road im very used to the back end went a Badger ran across in front of me I swerved at 35 mph ISH not much more or less I went for the brake and cos Europcar ripoff have had me in a manual when I should not be in one I hit the accelerator instead of the brake and shot across the road taking trees down tumbling over and over coming to a halt on it's crushed roof non of us had a scratch but wee were covered in Macdonalds tomato sauce. Surely these are extenuating circumstances and I should be given 1 last chance ? Anyone?

Hi @Scotte74 really sorry to read about your situation. It's difficult as it's very much at their discretion. Is there potentially someone else who could drive on your behalf for a period of time. If so, maybe they'll agree to keep the insurance live for that person, then review your eligibility at a later date?
