Universalcredit and moving

Hi I need some help with my situation. My husband and myself are currently living in rented property we are both disabled and we are getting all the benefits required to us . The question I have is we have been looking for a smaller property on local council with no luck
My daughter owns her house and has suggested we move into her home while she moves in with her partner so we can get out of our current situation
Now I know we won't get the housing element as she will not be charging us rent neither does she want to be a landlord
Will my husband and I still receive our standard allowance? Or will this be affected also many thanks

Thankyou for getting back to me quickly .. would it be affected if she didn't move out ..she will still be paying the mortgage in both situations thankyou

No, your standard allowance wouldn't be affected then either.

Thankyou I've read so many things that she would be classed as non dependent but we wouldn't need the housing element just need to change our address

A non dependant deduction would only be made from Housing Element, and not at all if either one if you get Daily Living PIP.

Thankyou do you how my standard allowance would be affected because she works ..and if it stopped would we still receive the lwrca and carers element as couple if this did stop due to her earnings. Thanks

You get the couples rate standard allowance because you are a couple. Who else you live with has no affect on your standard allowance.

Hi I've also read that her earnings is classed as income I don't understand the threshold .. and if she say earns £ 2000 per month how much will be deducted from our universalcredit we get the couples rate over 25
I read if she goes over threshold every £ 1 she earns we will be deducted by 55p .. any help will be appreciated

Even if living together for the purposes of UC LCWRA, Carers Element and Standard Allowance you and your husband are treated as a separate household to your daughter.
So her earnings would not have any impact on the UC claim for you & husband.
