Unsure about my PIP will be affected

I'm 64. Awarded ongoing pip last year. Enhanced both parts. So, if the Green Paper changes
come to fruition how soon would I be reassessed.
I am due light touch review in 9 years. Presumably that won't happen if the changes go ahead.
Finally, if I need to claim state benefits will this involve the planned new combined pip wca assessment.
Thanks for your help.

Hi @Sindy61, from what we currently understand, most people of state pension age won't be affected by the changes but there's still a lot that we're waiting for clarification on.
If you scored above 4 points in any one of the descriptors in the Daily Living category it's unlikely you'll be affected once your review comes through in 9 years time.
I'm afraid most things are still a bit up in the air until all the details are confirmed, so it's really difficult to say exactly how things might work.

Thanks Rosie
I appreciate a lot is unknown. It's a worrying time isn't it.
Have a good day.
