Hi, my name is Davidlee74!
Hi all. I have had peripheral Neuropathy for about 4 years now and in lots of pain, i do take meds for it but it's getting to the point off affecting my mobility. I'm considering applying for Pip but hearing some awful stories on appication processes is putting me off. Any advice here would be greatly appreciated. Davd

Hi David. I'm so sorry you are going through so much pain . Please remember at times there are a lot of successful stories also which can outway the negative ones . I have osteoarthritis three stomas mental health disorder and cervical spondylosis and still get pip. So I would in your case apply for it. Yes there is a backlog of cases. You have nothing to lose by applying. I hope all goes well take care 🙂

Hi @Davidlee74 I agree with @Nikk, as humans we naturally tend to shout the loudest about negative experiences so it often seems like they're the majority but we just don't tend to speak up when things go smoothly.
It's definitely worth looking into. If you'd like support with the process, you could contact Turn2us or Citizens Advice 🙂
