Morning one & all I need a loan of £500 reaon behind this the the car I have is on a mobility contract and the 3 years is up and I received a letter to say about getting a new car the car that we have is a quashqi & I have to £500 deposit

    You can't get a loan off PIP, try choosing a car that doesn't require an advance payment then you won't need a loan.

    The quashia is the only car I can safely get in or out

    Well PIP do not give out loans.

    Most new cars take a few months to arrive. So you could save up over a few months before getting the car, instead of paying back a loan for a few months afterwards.

    Motability offer grants to cover the cost of the AP so you should ask them if you really need that type of car and can't afford the AP.

    Hi @maxsaisy69, if you're on any other benefits sometimes you can apply for a loan or advance:

    Universal Credit: Financial help and support - GOV.UK

    Budgeting Loans: Check if you're eligible - GOV.UK

    But these will need to be paid back from your payments. As OverlyAnxious mentioned, the first port of call would probably be Motability to see if there's anything they can do to support you. Hope you can find a solution soon ☺️
