I have just renewed my blue badge expecting the usual 3 years but have been sent one lasting for less than 2 years. Still £10 though. Anyone else had similar?

Hi,
If you automatically qualify for a Blue Badge through PIP but only have 2 years remaining on the PIP award, then the end date of the badge will be the same as the end date on your PIP award.

Hi @TANYAFIELDING
Something similar has happened to me before when applying for my blue badge. The first time I applied I only had it for a year but when I renewed it, I got three years!
I think it can depend on local authority as I know PIP isn't a criteria or a guarantee for one where I live1
