Review after PIP tribunal win

Hi. Can anyone clear up a few queries I have please?
My mum won her pip at tribunal this year (march 2025), they gave a 3 year award starting July 2023-July 2026. When nearing the end of her award next year will she be send a review form? I’ve read old articles online that she will need to put in a new claim completely.
What happens if she does have a review and they haven’t made a decision by the date of her current award ending, will she be given an extension? Many thanks

Hi,
Generally, review forms are now sent around 8 months before the end of the award, even for tribunal wins.
If she has returned the review forms, but the decision has not been made by the end date on the award, then an extension of 12 months should be automatically applied within the final month.
If she doesn't get any review forms then the award will end automatically on the end date.
If review forms are sent out but not returned on time, then the award ends on the deadline shown on the review form.
