Hi if someone is over their state pension age and there on daily living would it affect them due to pip changes?

Hi @emma85 - as yet we don't really know whether the proposed 4 points in at least one activity of daily living will affect claimants over state pension age. Thankfully many MPs (& charities) are against the proposed benefits cuts, so we will have to wait & see what happens.

It might be that people over state pension age aren't affected as this seems to be about working age claimants, but as yet we just don't know, sorry.

So i just get so confused about it all.but I know they said over state pension age is not affected.but the under state pension age is more at risk aent they.its only because someone who I know she's over her 70s and she on indefinite award

There's been a lot said in the media, but I think we should wait to be sure when we hear from the Gov't. I'm sorry I can't say more than that at the moment.
