Transitional protection question

hello there 👋🏼

I am currently on PIP daily living and LCWRA. I have got a review next week for the LCWRA. I currently get transitional protection from where I came off of JSA and was migrated over to UC where I got found LCWRA.

If I get found to be LCW or deemed Fit for work will I still get the transition protection as my PIP isn’t up for review until 2027

    This shouldn’t be an issue as the transitional protection is only eroded when the amount awarded for other UC components increases. This can happen due to the annual upratings (increases) in the standard allowance, housing costs, or other Universal Credit elements, except for the childcare element. Essentially, the transitional protection reduces pound-for-pound with any increase in other parts of the Universal Credit award. Being found to have LCW of fit for work instead of LCWRA won’t increase the amount of UC awarded for other components so won’t impact the transitional protection.
