Hello all im sorry to be a pain I have recently applied for new style esa on 14th of May I had texts confirming my claim and sick note but heard nothing else I rang Friday and was informed someone would call I had no call or letter and feeling very stressed and scared

hi @Lullaby2025 I received texts confirming receipt of my application and sick note and also didn’t hear anything for ages. If you’re at the same stage it was about 8 weeks before I got a letter telling me I had been booked in for a telephone assessment. Having looked at other posts this timeline seems fairly normal. Hope you hear soon and good luck with your application

i had the same i applied on 28th may and i havent heard anything for ages but i rang them on monday just gone and the agent on the phone said i should of heard something by now so he sent a email to another department and i had them ring me yesterday morning saying they were looking at my claim and would hear from them in seven days i had already an assessment with uc so they were going to use that i was awarded lcwra with uc, so definitely ring them again but i found it does help if you get a helpful operator had some rude ones before, good luck
