Social housing- giving up a wet room

Hi,
Would I be able to give up a group d floor property with a wet room that I no longer require and bid on other properties.

Sorry I forgot to mention I was given the property as before I required the use of this due to a neurological problem which has now sorted itself out and think someone else should be able to make use of this. So would the council let me join the register again and bid on normal properties.

Hi,
Do you still have other conditions that affect your housing requirements? If you are now considered as able bodied, the council list is likely to be very long for those without a medical need.

Hi @leakel12 and a warm welcome to the community!
It can be different depending on where you live so the best thing to do is get in touch with your local council and they should be able to let you know if this something that is possible☺️2 -
@overlyanxious sorry I don't know how to tag 😬 I don't have any conditions anymore but I'm with Dorset council and on their policy it states giving up an adapted property would mean band B but just wondered if anyone had done it as my council is terrible, they seem to make up their own rules!
