Purely out of interest - who lives furthest from their nearest job centre ?
I live about 23 miles……

Interesting @Wibbles and not something I have thought about before. I had a look and found I have multiple within a 15 mile radius, my nearest being just under 2 miles away.

Some unfortunates in Scotland, evidently have up to 100 miles to travel to the JCP.
I can see DWP requiring ALL claimants to sign on fortnightly ……

Mine is about 5 miles away. But it doesn't matter whether it's 5 miles or 5000 miles, I still can't get there.

That must be Highlands and Islands.
Just looked up various locations, and any of the 1,200 population of Benbecula, they would have to travel 95 miles to Stornoway.
It looks like you would need to take several ferries into the bargain!

I live a few minutes away from my local hospital but it's about half an hour walk to the local job centre.
When I have an appointment my work coach rings me.
