Pip review

Hi my review was due in march but as we all know everything is massively delayed I sent it all the information they asked for to them in September 24 and then waited . On the 26th of may I got from the health assessment advisory service that they're handling my case and will contact me if needed . I got really inpatient today and decided to call in to check if there's any progress the lovely gentleman on the phone said there no details there but that it's in progress, he wished me luck just before the call ended . Now I know some cases are paper based only but I'm worried they just decided on withdrawal of the award and I'm going to have to fight for it which I'm not sure I have the mind and power for . Could anyone tell me what they're experience of review with no calls is like please or if anyone can suspect any outcome of this .thank you

my pip runs out in November which I thought was early for a review waited 2 months and now I should have the result in 2!weeks still not arrived what they’re doing with the suspense is really playing with my mental health. The government need to make a proper decision with cuts etc etc this is mental cruelty I can’t plan lifts for shopping hospitals and a chaperone as I’m **** scared of going on my own. I also have d ds coming out of my bank from pip to pay people that help me with everything. And they seem to be targeting people with mental health and back issues. I would absolutely love for professionals to be able cure my pain as I love working and it’s also my social life. Sorry for the rant but has anyone recently had a review with the same conditions and if so what was their decision? I will fight fight all the way but my condition is degenerative so it’s not going to go away

HI
I am in the same situation as you. I had a 8 Yr award which is due to end Dec 2025 so I sent the review form back in Sept 2024. In the original I scored 4 in at least 1 cat of daily living and max points for mobility. I had not heard anything till this morning when I got the generic (I think) txt saying I will be written to, in the nxt 2 weeks I shld receive letter with outcome not to call and if circumstances change to let them know so think I have lost award.
I have a very complicated history but the main diagnosis since 11 is acute uncontrolled asthma. I jave had many itu admissions and been intubated lots of time and had hundreds of stays in hospital I also suffer with a clotting disorder and suffer dvt and pulmonary embolism on injections for rest of my life. I also suffer with bad stomach due to having 8 ops in 2 years on strangulation hernias causing alot of scare tissue and nerve damage. I also have an auto immune prob due to the drugs I'm on. And now due to steroids Dr thinks I have severe arthritis in hip and poss need a new one ( I'm only 42) but dwp don't know this as only saw physio last week. I am on really strong painkillers oxycodone both long and shortec which makes me really drowsy. I also have home oxygen and nebs and on about 20 different medications daily.
But even with scoring 4 in some daily living components (which is part of new rules) and way over 12 altogether plus I got the highest award for mobility and that was b4 having home oxygen but still have a feeling I am going to lose award.
I Hope you have a positive outcome I can't comment wether I think you will get it or lose it. ( did u score 4 or more in daily living components orignally)
Its a scary time for many of us just wanted you to know your not alone.
