Been to day and she sent me home due to mental health any body nos what happens now plz

    They may have enough to make a decision or they may seek further medical evidence to allow them to make a "paper" decision.
    Try not to worry, you could try CAB for further advice or ring the Scope help line

    I had a support worker with me and she said cause of my mental health issues she had enough and will see me in 12 months CockneyRebel so dont no what that means

    From what you say they can make the decision, so no need to worry. You can give the DWP a ring in a couple of weeks or get your support worker to do so for you.

    Not much is known about UC at the moment so any feed back you can give us will help

    I will thank you i have asked for my assessment from pip as its with dwp they recieved it last friday she said something about back pay it confuses me

    Was your PIP claim a new claim ?
    or was it a change from DLA to PIP ?

    It confuses most of us some of the time :)

    Ok, it sounds as though your PIP claim has been sucessful. IF this is the case then the back pay will be to the date that you made your claim. BUT nothing is certain until you receive the decision letter.

    May I ask what difference would it make if someone is already on DLA's application for Pip in comparison to a completely new claim?

    Normally DLA will continue until a decision is made re PIP. Then DLA is paid for 4 weeks before PIP payments begin.
