Changed to PIP November 2026

3 weeks ago I received the dreaded review form for my PIP award. I knew it was due this year but wasn't sure when exactly. Anyway, all filled in and posted back. But can anyone reassure me that the changes to the requirement to get 4 points in any one of the daily living descriptors doesn't actually come in until November next year? I keep reading contradictory things on line saying that until you are due for review, you will keep your current award BUT it's also making it sound like if you are reviewed BEFORE November 2026,you still have to gain 4 points on one of the daily living descriptors. I'm confused. Can anyone clarify once and for all? Are these articles I read just scare mongering?

The changes will apply both to new claimants and to existing claimants when their award is reviewed from November 2026 onwards.

Ok thanks for clearing that up. I think certain sectors of the media are just trying to stir up fear and anxiety. Not naming any names, but the usual suspects!
