I have a wetroom and wash/dry toilet in my council house. It was installed by the council, after I had an Occupational Health assessment.

Hi @Jonny0329 and welcome to the community. 😊 @Ranald has put it perfectly. It's likely you'll want a disabled facilities grant through the council. If you did want to read up a bit more about this before applying, you can do so here - Disabled Facilities Grants: Overview - GOV.UK

Hi @Jonny0329 my name is jono, I've had to go through this myself, I contacted my local council who set up a occupational therapist appointment, the first call came from them about 6 months after I contacted the council only to setup a home visit that took a further 7 months, the OT was very good and identified that I need hand rails as well as a full wet room and also needed a shower chair and walking aids, the other filled out the grant paperwork with me and set about getting the trade people in to quote for the work, I got given a grant about 8 weeks after OT filled for it and covered all but £50 of the world required the work took place about 6 weeks after the grant was approved and took 9 days in all now I have a wet room I can use independently and grab bars at my front and back door toilet and shower I also have a shower chair and walking aids given by our local councils partnership, the entire process took about 18 months start to finish but time scales are based on our local area in Angus it may be quicker where you are but your local council can assist with rough times scales, I hope I have been of some assistance
