Hi, my name is beckym12!
I had a phone call from a pip session maker on Thursday in regards to where my bank details correct and if I received a large sum of money would I be able to handle it? Does this mean I’ve been awarded pip? Haven’t received a letter as of yet but just wondering if anyone else has had the same.

Hi
Welcome to the community.
That does seem to happen if an award is being made

I had a back payment. Quite a large amount of money. I was underpaid for seven years. I should have received a disability premium. I have a letter to say where it has come from. I don't know what's going to happen.

Hi @beckym12 and welcome to the community. 😊 I can't say for sure but if they're asking that question it definitely looks likely you're expecting an award. Hopefully you'll receive a letter soon with some good news!

I’ve been in the phone to them and they are saying no payment has been made as of yet just don’t understand it

Hi @beckym12 your assessment may still be going through the process. Hopefully you'll receive some confirmation soon. It does sound positive though 😊
