Benefit Cuts

Benefit cuts are definitely going ahead and do not need to be debated a source has informed me pip is going to be slashed LCWRA is being replaced and the assessment is going to put into one with the pip assessment this starts this next month rather than April 2026 what assessments have now resumed along with LCWRA reviews so it's all happening this has given me personally a headache and didn't sleep last night at all this is continual constant frustration to me and expect you others on benefits pip lcwra it's doing my head in to be honest infact I had to get out of bed in the middle of the night and was literally sick in the bathroom I had worked myself up that much I struggle with my mental health I have ptsd and this isn't doing me any good at all.

Hi @davidpnuk, do you mind sharing what source told you that things were going ahead so quickly?
It's a pretty frightening time for lots of people and there's a lot of information about. Not all of it is correct information which can cause a bit of panic as misinformation spreads so easily.
Most of the proposed changes will need to go through several stages in parliament before they become legislation, so we don't expect anything to come in over the next month.
I'm really sorry things have affected you so much, I hope you manage to get some rest today.
