hi i am migrating from esa support group to universal credit,,and i am at the end of the process 1st payment on 3rd of july,,however got a letter yesterday saying my contribution based esa is changing to new style esa i always thought i was on income based esa because i havent worked for decades ..the letter they will book me a appointment soon to discuss how my illness effects my being able to work ,,is this a reassessment ?] ive not been able to work because of anxiety states ocd panic attacks etc,only i thought you wont be reassessed if you just migrate from esa support group to uc any help appreciated

    You won't have to worry about working coaches if you were in the support group. I had an ID interview at the Jobcentre, and had a phone call the next day to agree commitments ( just agreed to inform them of any changes).

    I didn't know I had a mixed claim either, the cb part of ESA becoming NS ESA, it was the first I knew about it. It gets deducted in full from your UC payment.

    If you used to claim IB, that will probably be why you had cb and ir mixed ESA.

    just dont understand why this is possibly some kind of assessment when i am migrating to uc and new style esa from esa support group
