Hey @leeann06 and a warm welcome to the community.

I'm sorry to hear you're having issues with bills. I'd recommend checking a benefits calculator, that should help to give you an idea of what you can claim.

Hey @leeann06 if you click on the "benefits calculator" in purple on my last comment, it'll take you to the benefits calculator and you can see what you're entitled to claim there. 😊

I'd also suggest contacting Shelter, they'll hopefully be able to support you with your housing situation too.

@leeann06 Hi, hard to do anything when you are unwell and of no fixed address. If you contact your local council's Homelessness service (call them) - or the one that you have lived in for over 3 years if you are staying elsewhere at the moment (this is your local connection it's called for Homelessness applications), then they can assess you for temporary accommodation support. They should accomodate you tonight if you are able to call them before midday. It won't be The Ritz or maybe even where you want it but will provide an address for you for now while they assess if they can support you further.

If you have access to a GP, it would be useful to let them know if you want to that you are struggling. They should be able to refer you to local support. It's a tough time but you will move through it.

116 123 Samaritans can be useful to call as they listen and will be a safe person to speak to. It's useful to get feelings out if they're troubling you but they can't offer you benefits or support advice.

Whilst I truly sympathise with what you're going through, nobody here will (or can) help you financially.

The best we can do is offer advice.

    Re: bills/debts - https://www.stepchange.org/

Stepchange will support or signpost (refer) you to a service that can assist you. They are a genuine charity of longstanding. Please be careful on the internet because there are many pretend services that offer support for you to get out of debt for a fee. You do not need to pay to get out of debt, ever!
