What benefits will I loose

I am disabled and live in a rental flat. I get both enhanced mobility and care PIP. I am receiving ESA and Universal credit (standard allowance, housing, limited capability for work and transitional protection). My daughter and family have asked me to move in with them when they buy their new house. They have a ground floor attatched annexe that I can use and they will have an accessible bathroom put in for me. I would want to contribute to the elec and heating and meals etc. Would anyone be able to guide me on my benefits and would I have to pay seperate council tax being an annexe? Thankyou

If you go on turn2us and do a benefits check it will give you an idea on what you will receive or won't receive .
Do it as if you already live with your daughter .

My guess is you would probably only lose the housing part. I have two sons who get LCWRA that live with me and they get the Standard rate + LCWRA. One gets PIP, the other DLA. Anybody over 18 is classed as their own household.

Thankyou, I guess I’m just going to have to wait and see.
