I agree I'm alright Jack it's awful it needs scrapping noting will change if anything will be worse amd don't tell me they won't change thoer word or when timms apparently going to take three years to write last lot of pip or whatever it will change again and it can't be challenged as money bill they have it all worked out I hope it gets binned and they really work on a better system but yes that's not true labour should be thinking of all the people now and in near future even doing a money bill is a cop put big time talk about playing dirty scared they would lose and he knows it

It's 39 signed they have been playing with our heads last week remember the buzz of so many signatures some people might be happy with changes and that's perfectly fine but I think it's horrid next year could be our family friends that fall ill it's an impossible system now amd we are meant to be happy I won't lie for a hot minute I was then I thought labour vile they supply arms to iseral soul destroying heart breaking upsets me on a daily basis if they can do that a and sleep at night we know who we are dealing with! We need a proper system that goes by equality act because under labour it's worse than tories we need things signed sealed and delivered as it will always be something with this lot always

The new criteria includes the 4 point rule,so we have infact won nothing but a short reprive, but seeing how it would have come into effect in 28/29 now moved falward to early 2027 we have infact lost ground,we are all going to be under this rule like it or not because pip is being rewritten to Include this rule,a 2 tier benefit system? I think not unless someone comes out and categorically makes a statement that current claimants will be protected forever which us what Robert peston stated last week but has since backtracked after reeves statement to the house on Monday, she said we would be included in the 4 point rule in the future so that's that!!

My MP emailed me last night with a response about the 4-point rule. According to her, only the new descriptors will apply going forward. See my MP's response below.

    1. Existing PIP claimants - The bill protects existing PIP claimants. Once the review of PIP descriptors is complete and implemented, any reassessments will be made against the new descriptors. However, if you are an existing claimant the new 4-point rule being brought in by the bill will not apply.

I am so so thankful that only recently ish have I moved from ESA Contribution based to State Pension, I feel so bad for those going through all this as, if I was born just a couple of years later I would not have a clue what would happen to those in that category and would be feeling just like you right now .

Im alright Jack is bad, but they also dont understand it, the concession is only for a couple of years until the Timms review is enacted, the "going forward" is misleading. I would personally be ok with a smaller PIP award, I think they should consider moving away from these one size fits all amounts, and consider reducing award amounts before removing eligibility. That community led proposal, one of the ideas was a tailor made level of support for the individual instead of one size fits all.

We don't have one size fits all. Claimant A receives standard rate DL only. Claimant B receives the enhanced rate for both. There are multiple different payments. DLA had three tiers.

I think any MP that votes for this bill today will be seeking alternative employment when it comes to the next GE.
