What will happen to existing PIP claiments, will they get payments until timms fully reviewed pip?

What will happen to the exsisting pip claiments thats already on pip after the welfere reform? Would they carry on getting their payments until timms fully reviewed the pip system?

I think the government will now ensure the timms review is all done and dusted before November 26....which was the original date for change

Meaning.exsistant claiments aint affected? Like over state pensioners aint affected?

I should think Timms version of PIP will be trialed first and then it's will be new claimants firsts. They are snail slow. The original PIP roll-out was supposed to be complete by 2018. They never finished. People remain on DLA.

So really pip the side of it it doesnt affect exsisting claimants at this moment. But tomorrow 9th July they will be voting against pip thats linked onto uc health element?is that correct

If you're currently claiming PIP you are protected until at least August 2026. In the meantime, a new review will be completed by Timms in partnership with disabled people and the findings of this will shape what the Government looks to implement. We won't know what that is until this review is completed.
It's the other aspects that remain in the bill that the vote is about tomorrow. If it's allowed to pass, this will impact the health element via freezing for current claimants, and reducing this for new claimants which would create a 2-tier benefits system.

Mines till 2030 I thought you kept it till next assessment

If it goes through tomorrow they will make it a 2 tier system 1st one for current claims and second for new claims.i don't understand myself.why don't they just leave the disabled alone and tax the wealth

Is the new pip rules only apply to new claiments?

Because the disabled don't buy them suits and concert tickets.
