Where the hell do i stand.

Due To the farcical changes the government (what a joke) see fit to impose on people ,will i be treated as a new claiment.
Situation::: Pip renewal due Sept 2026... i know I'll probably get the forms anything up to a year before, but still i'm confused.
Secondly, yet to migrate from Income related esa (Support group)to Uc. Are those of us still in this position classed as new claiments if we aren't migrated over before any changes.
Oh and did the proposal re Face to face assessments for pip to be reinstated for all by the tories get voted down? Been there done that numerous times for dla (indefinite) but by far pip was horrific.
Thanks in advance.

I’m in that position too. Income related ESA but not on UC yet. It’s all so stressful and worrying. Can anyone help?

That’s what I’ve heard too. I hope that’s the case. I really hope your review goes well. The worry never goes away

IR ESA is ending this year, so you will be migrated to UC before any changes come in regarding that.

@OverlyAnxious I heard that but wasn't sure if things changed. Thanks

Im the same they said upto march 2026 everyone on esa would have been migrated the new criteria comes in April 2026 I'm sure be classed as existing claimants

@Catherine21 I feel like im choking with anxiety all the time, I'm so dreading the uc changeover, but I think the pip review terrifies me more. My last pip review was via phone .She was a very junior nurse and she was relentless to the point I was left paranoid. I'd never been paranoid in my life. It took me well over a year after to settle a little bit. I got my pip back at the MR stage that time. It feels like a never ending battle. I hope you are ok ? Its definitely not a good thing fighting for everything we need constantly. X

@Catherine21 You go! Well done for all you do.
They'll have a wonderful summer Quaffing Champers and Strawberries with cream. I'm trying to survive on an expensive Gluten free diet that I can ill afford, if i get my money taken away I have no idea what I'll do. A tiny GF loaf is almost £3. Plus all my other add ons i buy for my disabilities, and I know I'm far from alone in that. We rise and rise again despite them. X
