Housing association delaying reasonable adjustment
II'm Registered Severely sight impaired and have severe hearing loss in March 2025 I moved into a new build property that has a communal bin room which is coded when I moved in the bins were outside the bin room because they weren't accessible to anyone I have to cross a row of planters to get to the bins which does cause me to trip up at times but I haven't mentioned that to my HA on the 1st May when I was worried the bins would eventually be moved into the bin room as the building was being finished (still is) I asked for a reasonable adjustment it went on for a month of telling me its with the developer and no time frame for a resolution finally they decided on the 3rd june I would get temporary individual bins whichI washappy with till they told me it was my responsibility to make sure the other 40 plus tenants dont misuse my bins and they have no responsibility which I disagree with and don't believe it should be on me it feels like a half hearted attempt at a reasonable adjustment in the meantime of this I've put in a stage 1 complaint I then received the acknowledgement letter in standard font even though they have a copy of my cvi I emailed them and in fairness they apologised and said they would email letters I waited the 10 days and on the final day for them to respond to my Stage 1 I emailed them because I hadn't had a stage 1 final response they emailed me back with an attachment of the Stage 1 respone and not only did they mislabel my disability as partially sighted they also failed to give any meaningful update on the delivery for the bins that apparently my council had to deliver I wasn't once contacted during the investigation to give my concerns I've since raised a stage 2 complaint for the above reasons my question is how likely is a HA to use a sec21 to evict me im on a starter tenancy because I need the individual bins but worried they will try and evict once they have carried out their duty this has been going on 10 weeks now

Hi there @KL2025 and a warm welcome to the community.
I'm sorry to read about your struggles, I know that cant be easy having to deal with extra stress. I can't say how likely it would be for a HA to use a no fault eviction. I'd like to think if the HA valued their customers, they'd not use them at all. It would look especially bad if they did after dealing with your issues.0
