    after mying my national insurance for nearly thirty years, i resent them calling my payments benefits, there is a difference between getting something for nothing and sombody paying into a scheme I.E. national insurance, then when you become ill and have to use this payment, your branded as on benefits.

    I underastand @mr294u a pension has always been called a benefit, but I think many people forgot until more recently. There's no shame in claiming benefits either, they're there to help people. 😊
