ADHD & Dyspraxia
I’m currently receiving PIP since 2023 due to be reviewed in 2026.im on regular amount - I qualified due to having FND (a neurological disorder with a lot of symptoms) anxiety& incontinence. I’m also on LCWRA
However this year when I was screened by DSA psychologist for the university I was told I had ADHD & Dyspraxia, I was also diagnosed with PCOS in late 2024.
so my question here is …
Should I contact PIP to update my record. I have never been able to learn to drive - that maybe something I qualify?
or is it risky as I hear some people losing their PIP Altogether in the second assessment?

of course the university screening does not qualify as an actual diagnosis - does it matter

Hi @filifou - as you likely know, PIP is more about your functional problems as regards the activities that are looked at, rather than any diagnoses.
You don't have to update the DWP about any new diagnoses, only if you think you could likely change your current award for one that is higher.
If you report a change, then due to this 'change of circumstances' you'd have to complete another form like your initial claim form, usually go through another assessment, etc. The DWP would look at everything again, &, as you realise, your award could go up or down, or stay the same, & yes, you could lose your award.
When it comes to your review, you could simply mention your new diagnoses then.
