Hello to all

Just my concerns are I am in receipt of pip as well as lcwra from universal credit, I am wondering if I will be affected to the changes due lcwra that will be cut in half.

They really cannot see the despair in people's lives taking or cutting bnefits from vulnerable people's lives.

Government not supporting employers to help disabled people get back into work, employers aren't wanting to support me or others, I am awaiting a review from pip as well, (which I had to appeal my case in the past and won the appeal 2yrs ago).

I am trying very hard to find employment due to these changes to benefits welfare system as I am scared, but can't find employers that support disabilities or really want to as I feel im a hindrance to their company, it's been the most anxious depressing time for me. My health is deteriorating physically and mentally over this I am sure I speak for others too.

Any advise on this helps pls.

Good afternoon @gillyrose62 and a very warm welcome to the community. I hope you're managing to stay cool? ☺️

I totally understand the lack of disability friendly employers out there. But they are definitely out there and from the sounds of things, the government is trying to bring more employers into the disability friendly umbrella. It's worth speaking to the lovely people at Scopes employment support services, they will be able to offer advice on all things employment, so it'd definitely be worth popping them a message. ☺️
