Need help regarding overpayments?

Ok so as some may know mum migrated to UC from ESA support group back in may had her first payment in June however it was missing the LCWRA she still hasn't heard about this yet but at the time she still got a further 2 ESA payments after the 2 week run on and so she'll owe for this 2 payments. We then got a letter last week to confirm that her ESA has stopped so ESA are aware she's on UC now so I'm hoping that means they have told UC about her being in support group.
Anyway we've not been contacted yet about the 2 overpayments and I know they will either take the full amount she owes from her UC or pay it back monthly WI wanted to ask if they take it in full can they deduct from her elements too like housing or LCWRA when she gets that or do they only take from her standard allowance as her overpayment amount to around £646.34 so more than standard allowance?

Overpayment repayments are capped at 15% of standard allowance. Which would be just over £60 per month.

Thanks Kimi I have seen some have the full amount taken from there UC amount and wondered if they wanted to recover the full amount if they can only recover it from the standard allowance

My advice is correct to the best of my knowledge, but I'm not a trained benefits advisor and don't claim to be always right.
Perhaps the Citizens Advice Help to Claim service can answer your questions?

Mine was taken in full.
It was taken from the standard allowance & LCWRA. (£700 odd).
Don't think deductions apply to Housing Element.
I don't have further advice than last time though. All you can really do is wait and see what they decide. People do have different experiences with UC overpayment so it's impossible to say anything for definite.

UC is a benefit made up of different elements. Your entitlement is added up then any deductions are made. So deductions are made from the entire award.
She won't be any worse off financially because she's already received the overpayment.

Ok thanks both just wondered if it gets taken off everything or just standard. Shall wait and see.
If ESA is now aware and her ESA has now stopped does that means it's more likely UC would have been told about her support group award?
