I woz on the lcw from October 2023 I woz awarded lcwra July 2025 will i be bacdated

    Have you been providing fit notes without any gaps all that time?

    Is this a new claim you have made?

    You will only be backdated if both:

    You submitted a change in health

    You gave in Fit Notes without gaps.

    Otherwise, the LCWRA decision applies to the Assessment Period in which the decision was made.

    I first done it 2019 then thay put me on lcw in 2020 then re done it in 20 23 still on lcw then woz awarded lcwra 2025 will it be backdated

    Unless it's a yes to both of my statements above, eligibility for LCWRA payment will date only to the Assessment Period that the decision letter was written.

    So no backpay would be due, unless LCWRA is missing from your next statement in which case they would owe you one month.

    Keep writing on journal no response first done lcw in 2019 didn't award 2020 replied 20 23 didn't ask for sick notes just medical evidence awarded 2025 will it be back dated

    I have already answered your question.

    From the information you have given, the answer is no LCWRA will not be backdated because either:

    DWP started the reassessment in 2025

    Or

    You started the reassessment by reporting a change in health and didn't submit continous Fit Notes.

    If the DWP started the review in 2023, you do not qualify for LCWRA to be backdated before the date of the decision July 2025.

    If you started the review in 2023, you do not qualify for LCWRA to be backdated as you did not submit continous Fit Notes.

    In either situation payment for LCWRA element only starts July 2025.

    I understand the information you have given me, you only the 2023 re assessment is relevant.

    As I've explained you do not qualify for LCWRA to be backdated any further than July 2025.
