Sunflower ๐ป
I've been growing sunflowers this year but one of them is bigger than all the others
I named it after a brilliant brilliant online friend I have from here who won't want to be named
I've been waiting for ages for the head to appear โฆ I was having a realllllly dark time earlier this week and happened to glance at it and saw some yellow and knew who to ask to put my mind to rest a bit โฆ I don't think I believe in signs and stuff but it was sweet
Anyway I thought the forum would be interested to see this

Have you watched it tracking the sun during the day from East to west and back again until fully open then it settles facing the east for maximum heat to attract pollinators

@Albus_Scope @Rosie_Scope I'm glad to see you're both admins still on here. ๐ ๐ค I had a great day today and then struggled superficially a bit for the last 45 mins, like thinking I'm doing well but wondering if I deserve to do well, but now I'm ok againโฆ I've been splitting my ADHD meds into 2 half doses (sometimes not taking both) but took a whole one at once as prescribed early this morningโฆ I had a productive day and I imagine they started to wear off and that correlates with when I struggled. I'm good again now though ๐

@JessieJ Thank you!! I'm glad you like sunflowers too. They're my favourite I think, but I like daisies tooโฆ there's been thousands of those giant ones at the side of the roads here recently but they're starting to die off now

I hope my wife doesn't see this โฆ I've been having grief after forgetting to sow the seeds of red ones she bought. Such is life โฆ sucks to be her ๐ค

There's a house a few hundred yards away with a sunflower in their garden that looks like it needs a drink. I keep wondering if it's frowned on to trespass on someone's land if I have the intention of watering their sunflower ๐ค

Haha I'd be very tempted to sneak over too! Hopefully it'll rain there and give it a much needed drink!

@66Mustang love sunflowers! They always me feel warm, so can see how it's cheered you up. A few years back I had a little sunflower patch outside with quite a few. Was like a little field ๐

@Holly_Scope there's a farm near us who does pick your own, including sunflowers
It makes me sad but then, like Christmas trees, if people didn't pick them they wouldn't be grown in the first placeโฆ I guess it's best to see them temporarily, than not at all
