Not sure how much more I can take

Still undergoing migration from esa to uc & just got a text to say my PIP review as started to expect a form in 2 wks. My PIP is until next March 2026 ( I think).
Is this all to do with the migration or just a coincidence? Just dont know much more stress I can take, my body feels like giving up

I would advise not to worry about anything until a fortnight then

Just a coincidence, but awful timing unfortunately.

It's a coincidence as there are such big backlogs with PIP reviews, they are starting 9-12 months in advance.

Hi Tillyboo. I had my PIP review early this year. I had just finished that and got my new award - when I got the letter for migrating to UC. That has been so very stressful. I have no advice, other than to just take it one day at a time. But I wanted you to know that I understand how exhausting and scary it is. I didn't think I was going to get through it. But people on this website have been so helpful. Wishing you the best.

@Azura Thank you. I'm currently sat in hospital waiting for tests for possible uterine/ovarian cancer. My husband was only diagnosed stage 4 cancer in March & everything eise going on with the benefit changes & my home ID visit tomorrow as well.
I just feel I've nothing left insidevto cope with anymore

That's just awful Tillyboo. I am so sorry. It can be a very cruel system that just focuses on numbers, rather than seeing claimants as human beings. You have so much to cope with now and I am hoping you and your husband get a break soon. x

So sorry to hear this @Tillyboo, it sounds like you have got an awful lot on your place so it is very understandable why you're feeling like you can't take much more.
A member of the team is going to send you an email shortly, please keep an eye out for it0 -
Ok thank you

I had that happen to me last year, received my migration letter, then not long after, my PIP review forms but I was expecting them anyway because they send them about 8 months before your award runs out.
It is very stressful but also a coincidence.

The DWP exerts never ending pressure and tension on us and keeps us under a lot of stress. Therefore, all we can do is increase our tolerance to its pressure. Most of us freak out by just seeing the word "Belfast" or a brown envelope.
