    Thankyou to your warm welcome ..

    Sometimes I have many things to say, questions that need answers & at times just my opinion on certain topics which I am passionate about & also frustrated, I don't like unfairness & prefer simple solutions to problematic issues which effect many & yet are made more complicated then needed to be. I fortunate or unfortunately do have a voice which I can use when needed for injustice & my drive & tenacity can at times be annoying so forgive me for that however I will say what I need too if warranted.
    I am looking forward to receiving help when needed & reciprocate this to the community when I can.

    Hi to everyone

    I am a new member.

    I have a question open to everyone.

    Just to know, if anyone had received their PIP review recently. Every time I fill in the form since 2013 I am always rewarded 3 years renewal. But this year because the govt was thinking of kicking up a lot of PIP receivers out, DWP only renewed for a year.

    Recently, they sent me a message saying that they will get back to me for an assessment review. Even though I think it is unnecessary as I have all the Consultants reports attached, and a few more procedures in the Hospital ongoing.

    Is anyone here, undergoing the same as me for year 2025?

    Heya @MrsZed and welcome!

    Ok, so have you had the assessment etc and they only awarded you one year for PIP? Or is it an extension of one year for your PIP whilst they do your review? It can be a bit confusing but there's a huge backlog a the moment, so they're increasing most peoples PIP by a year when it's getting closer to reassessment time.

    I have not done any assessment appointed by DWP yet this time. As too many applications, been given another year until they work out the review. I hope now with the new rulings not to meddle on people with disability anymore, the review will be quick though… Hope and hope… 😪
