I have repeatedly tried to phone PIP to inform them of a change of address. Every time I phone I either get cut off or they can’t hear me. I have tried different devices, just in case my phone was the issue, but I don’t have this issue when I phone anyone else. Why do PIP do this? Are they deliberately trying to antagonise callers? What is going on at PIP?

Hi @RogueOne I've created a post for this as it was initially posted in your activity feed which might not be seen. Hope that's ok.

Omg they are impossible to get through to i gave up sick of being on hold listening to **** music for over half an hour.i was wanting to update them as had full knee replacement mid may and now my other knee is under investigation for possible surgery hopefully not as evasive.i am still off work mobility no better etc..so i have decided to leave it for now and when my re assessment is due around november 2027 will update my info then.so frustrating when you want to speak to a human being and keep getting obsticles thrown at you.

good to know I’m not the only one. Although none of us should have to go through this

If it's not urgent, you could send them a letter instead. Sign & date it and keep a copy for yourself in case of any issues in future.

Needed to speak to them a couple of days ago, with no problems getting through other than the 35 minute wait.

hello when I recently moved I posted a letter to the PIP team which is on my annual award letter as I experienced problems too, I got a letter back with confirmation of my new address so I would advise you write them a letter with your NI number and your new address hope that helps!

to all on the forum who offered support. My sister finally got through to PIP today to change my details. It took two weeks and dozens of phone calls but we got there
