How many died during the same timescale after being awarded PIP?

This is outdated as well. Terminal illness rules changed recently to fast track anyone with less than 12 months to live.

A lot of them were at the hands of Iain Duncan Smith & his welfare reforms.

Thanks. So many more people died after getting awarded PIP than those who were rejected. (Around 60,000 compared to 8,000).

I think we need to be very careful here, as although having information is key to fighting for our rights, we do need to be very careful we don't scare people who have recently applied for PIP.

Being refused PIP is not a death sentence for everyone and you can still ask for a MR, or go to a tribunal.

I guess that's to be expected - because entitlement to PIP = worse health !
