Can anyone help - is New Style ESA being stopped eventually? What happens instead?

Hello is new style eas being stopped i am in its and wondered what would happen if they get ride of it.

    Hi @Terri34, This was part of the government's recent consultation and we haven't found out the results of that yet.

    At the moment, it's proposed that New Style ESA will be changed to something called "Unemployment Insurance" which will be time limited. We're not sure at this stage whether existing claimants will stay on their ESA as normal or be transitioned over to the proposed new benefit.
