Hi, my name is PAULINE. TURND DOWN FOR PIP AND THE MANDERTORY DISION .

I HAVE CROHNS DISEASE AND ULTERA COLLISRUS AND I HAVE BEEN TURND DOWN FOR PIP AND THE MANDERTORY DISION AND I CANNOT FACE GOING TO THE TRIBRUNAL AS MY NERVES ARE VERY BAD AND I AM SO SCARDE UPSET OF FACEING THE TRIBRUNAL KNOWING THAT I MAY GET TURNED DOWN AGAIN IS THERE ANY OTHER HELP OR BENIFITS THAT I CAN GET AS THERE IS ONLY ME AND MY HUSBAND AT HOME AND I AM MY HUSBAND CARER AS HE IS REDGITERED DISABLED AND RECEIVE PIP AND MOBILATY SO THIS IS ANOTHER REASON I AM SCARDED OF GOING TO THE TRIBRUNAL BECAUSE THEY MIGHT TAKE MY CARERS AN THEN I CANNOT TAKE IT ALL IN AND WE BOTH ARE TRYING OUR ALLOWANCE BUT I DIDNOT HAVE MY CROHNS DISEASE AND THE OTHER PROBLEMS THIS IS WHY I WANT TO KONW IF THERE IS ANY OTHER HELP OR BENIFITS I CAN GET ALSO MY HUSBAND WAS ON ESA BUT NOW WE ARE BOTH ON A JOINT ACCOUNT ON THE UNIVERSAL CREDIT I CANNOT UNDERSTAND WHY I HAVE HAD TO GO JOINT ACCOUNT BECAUSE ALL I WAS GETTING BEFOR WAS MY CARERS ALLOWANCE AS I WAS NOT ON ANY OTHER BENIFITS ONLY MY CARERES ALLOWANCE SO THIS IS WHY ASWELL I AM VERY NURVES AND CANNOT TAKE THIS ALL IN AND I DONT HAVE A OPPERPASINAL THERIPIST JUST ME AND MY HUSBAND ARE TRYING OUR BEST TO HELP EACH OTHER WITH OUR PROBLEMS SO I HOPE THERE IS OTHER HELP THAT I GAN GET WITHOUT GIONG TO THE TRYBRUNAL OR THE HIGHER TRIBRUNAL THANK YOU PAULINE FOR ALL YOU HELP

Because you live as a couple the Universal Credit claim has to take both your financial circumstances into account and be a joint claim.
I cannot see there is anything else you can claim, apart from Council Tax Reduction if you don't already.
Local welfare rights can support you throughout a PIP appeal, if you should score enough points for an award, you don't have anything to lose.

I can see Kimi has given some excellent advice there, but I just wanted to pop in and say hi. Please don't be scared of the tribunal, I found them a lot more caring and compassionate than the original PIP assessment. It's well worth going for if you think you can manage it with some help. We're all here for support too. 😊
