UC migration and Sick note request
Had the following in my journal
… is simply replying migrating from ESA SG enough ?
Weirdly, had an ESA payment today a week early so guessing my claim there is closed.
I knew it was going too smoothly lol

A mistake, surely? I migrated from ESA with SG and nobody asked me for fit notes.
Umpteen members have posted that they have been asked for fit notes, and I believe they have received auto generated letters, as if they were making a new claim.

It's just a case of them not having all the information from ESA as yet.
The request can be ignored and it won't do any harm to add a Journal note.

"We have since found that you have not yet had a Work Capability Assessment outcome for your condition"
Welsh Blue. How dare they try this? 😡
You have. The WCA outcome was LCWRA/Support Group
"…if you do not…we will consider you to be capable for work." 😯 what ???
(I wouldn't respond)

well done you were the first to comment today

@Ranald @Kimi87 … thanks. I was guessing it was generic, but doesn't hurt to be extra vigilant
To be fair things like paying my landlord direct, are progressing smoothly (although have got to point out to them that they haven't taken 14% off for bedroom tax) Advance payment applied for and credited in 2 days
@WhatThe … hopefully as pointed out it's a generic form and not too many hoops to jump through
DDay is Aug 22nd when I get my statement lol

Welsh Blue, fortunately you know not to report or provide the requested 'fit note' but anyone who does risks reassessment then losing their LCWRA status.
"…if you do not…we will consider you to be capable for work."This is a threat. A clear threat to any vulnerable claimant. It's outrageous!
