Hey there @marvin40 and welcome to the community.
The threshold only counts if you're over it during the next payment cycle, so I think you'll be ok there. Can I just ask if you're getting any support for your gambling addiction?

hi thanks for reply, ive had gambling problem for a while. ive had help but i had relapse i won but couldnt stop gambling. i have mental health problems so im on uc. im not exactly sure how the payment cycles work but i was only over £16000 for short period and i heared that i would no longer be eligible having over £16.000. i was stupid to gamble because i always loose not long after a win. So do you think my claim will be ok ?

Hi Marvin, if you went below the £16k threshold that same day/night then it won't even appear on your bank statement. If it shows then nothing major will happen to you. You haven't committed a crime. Please don't make yourself ill over this.

M, I completely understand. DWP have made me paranoid too - I never answer my phone or door unless I know who it is.
That wasn't a crime but an oversight. Try to keep busy this weekend and have a break from those sites.
